About Me

Lead Software Engineer located in Corona, California. I have 10 years of full stack experience working on ASP.Net and C#. I have some experience with operations tooling including contributions to the CI/CD pipelines during my professional career. I also have professional experience with both AWS and GCP as well as experience working with Node and React.

I used to participate in Meet Up groups, and give presentations. I really miss communicating with others about technology. I’m hoping to turn this site will scratch that itch for me.

About my Last Name

My last name used to be Albertson. When I got married, my wife wanted to reclaim a name from her family tree, and I thought it would be a lovely idea if we both did reclaimed a name to hyphenate. My wife picked her grandmother’s last name: Keane. I went a bit further back to my great grandmother’s maiden name Galloway. We also decided to have a fixed order to our last name, because “Keane” sounds like “keen” so we thought putting it first would sound more like an adjective describing our other name.

About the Site Name

The name of this site Albertsonian comes from a nickname a friend gave me in high school. I had spouted off some piece of trivia and he said I sounded like a tour guide at a museum. He then made a joke about it being the Albertsonian as a play on the Smithsonian. I’ve used it occasionally as a handle since high school, and when I was an undergrad, I registered the domain name.
